Caley Bolderson, junior at Cornerstone University, paints her TOMS on April 6.  Her design is inspired by the novel, “Life of Pi.”  When a pair of TOMS is purchased, the company sends a pair of shoes to those in third world countries who don’t have them.

56 Cornerstone students gathered in classrooms to paint TOMS.  TOMS, a shoe company that, with every shoe purchased, gives a pair of shoes to a child in need (to learn more, go here).  Clothing Matters, a local retail store that sells clothes made from alternative materials such as t-shirts made of hemp and organic cotton and soft zip-ups made from recycled water bottles, brought in products for students to look at, purchase, and learn more about.
