CHRIS | Class of 2012

Photobucket

Chris, his mom, and I headed over to Johnson Park for some senior photos last night.  Chris is the younger brother of one of my good friends from high school, so I was really excited for this session.  The weather–absolutely perfect!  We couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

Chris wanted to do pictures at Johnson Park.  He and his cross country team train and run races at that park.  I do not envy the steep hill that they run as part of the course!  Thanks, Chris, for a fun senior session.  God bless your senior year!

SAVANNAH | Class of 2012

Photobucket

Savannah and I had an awesome time yesterday for her senior session.  The weather was perfect and she, Caiti (who was my amazing assistant) and I had a blast wandering around this gorgeous greenhouse.  Savannah–I hope you have a great senior year!  You were wonderful to photograph.

John and Ashley

This adorable couple is John and Ashley–and they’re getting married tomorrow!  In a couple hours I’ll be driving down to Warsaw, Indiana for their wedding and I can’t wait.

John, Ashley, and I snapped some engagement pictures back in October (yes, I am a horrible blogger).  It was cool and rainy, but it was the ONLY Saturday that schedules matched up, so we made the best of it.  John and Ashley are a genuinely joyful couple and it was a pleasure to take their pictures.  God bless the both of you as you start your new life together!

Governor Snyder enjoys Hudsonville Ice Cream on Wednesday morning, May 11, after recieving a tour of the company. Snyder was presented with two flavors that were made just for him.

I love the Sentinel already.  I’ve met some really cool people and I feel like I’ve done a semesters worth of shooting in just a week.  It’s been an adjustment and a learning process–going from one, maybe two, assignments a week to three or four a day.  I love my job!  It’s everything I ever wanted–fast-paced, exciting, challenging, creative, and full of interesting people.  This might be the best summer I’ve ever had.
